Job summary

ExcelliSearch, Inc. is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract position in the Austin, TX area with potential for permanent placement. This float role covers multiple sites within the Austin area and requires reliable transportation and a clean driving record.

Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8am–5pm, with possible additional daytime hours. Responsibilities include performing venipuncture, labeling and processing specimens, maintaining records, and following OSHA regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information.
