Calqulate Metrics Ltd. is seeking a Phlebotomist (Position: 6211) for a float contract in Montgomery County, MD. The role covers multiple sites with a 1-shift schedule (Mon–Fri), 7am–4pm or 8am–5pm, with EOS 8am–12pm. Projected duration is 3 months with potential for permanent placement.

The candidate will perform venipuncture, label and process specimens, and maintain accurate patient data. OSHA/DEP compliance and department trainings are required.

Competenze

• Valid phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• High School Diploma or GED; proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Mansioni

• Experience doing blood draws and labeling specimens.
• Centrifuging specimens and recording maintenance data.
• Decontamination and updating patient information as required.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients and demonstrate technique.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure proper labeling and storage.
