Job summary

Client Growth Resources, Inc is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract role with float coverage across Montgomery County, MD. The position offers first shift hours, Mon–Fri, 7am–4pm or 8am–5pm with EOS 8am–12pm, and a 3-month projected duration with potential to become permanent.

Responsibilities include performing blood draws, labeling and centrifuging specimens, updating patient records, and ensuring proper packaging and transport per protocol.

Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification for the state of employment.
• Minimum of 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens.
• Center and centrifuge specimens; record maintenance data.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Match requisitions to specimen tubes and ensure accuracy.
• Package specimens for transport and store per protocol.
