Job summary

Acloché LLC is seeking a Phlebotomist in Newberg, OR on a contract basis with a Monday–Friday 7:00am–3:30pm shift and rotating Saturdays. The role involves performing blood draws, labeling, and specimen handling with strict adherence to procedures.

Responsibilities include explaining the venipuncture process to patients, maintaining documentation, and ensuring specimen integrity while complying with OSHA/DEP regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification required in state of employment.
• Minimum 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and related specimen collection with proper labeling.
• Record maintenance data and decontamination per procedures.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients and ensure specimen integrity.
• Package and transport specimens according to protocol and temperature requirements.
• Comply with OSHA and DEP regulations and participate in trainings.
