Tom Trese Networking LLC seeks a Phlebotomist for a contract role in Newberg, OR. The position includes blood draws, specimen labeling, and handling of specimens under established protocols with attention to patient information and quality control.

The role requires phlebotomy certification, 6 months of venipuncture experience, and proficiency with MS Office. Schedule is M-F 7am-3:30pm with rotating Saturdays; benefits are available.

Qualificações

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsabilidades

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures and follows protocol for transport.
• Explain the venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients as required.
• Demonstrate technique using straight needles and/or butterfly needles.
• Ensure all test requisitions align with specimens and properly label and store samples.
• Follow OSHA and DEP regulations and attend annual trainings.
• Answer telephone inquiries and read laboratory results as needed.
