Job summary

Talent Solutions Partners is seeking a skilled phlebotomist to support blood collection, labeling, and specimen handling in a fast-paced lab environment in Newberg, OR.

The role involves venipuncture, specimen processing, OSHA-compliant procedures, and meticulous record-keeping. Schedule is M-F 7am–3:30pm with rotating Saturdays, contract for 3 months plus potential for permanent hire. Training and benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
• Explains the venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients.
• Demonstrates technique using straight and butterfly needles.
• Ensures test requisitions match specimen tubes and labels; maintains specimen integrity during transport and storage.
