RRC Solutions Group is seeking a Phlebotomist in Ashland, Oregon for a contract position with potential for permanent placement. Normal schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with every other Friday off.

Projected duration is 3 months, with a possibility of extending to permanent employment based on performance. The role requires performing blood draws, specimen labeling, centrifugation, and proper handling according to established procedures.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED
• 2 years of phlebotomy experience

Responsabilités

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
• Explains the venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients.
• Demonstrates technique with straight needles and butterfly needles.
• Ensures accuracy by matching requisitions to specimen tubes and labeling for transport.
