Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification required in the state of employment.
• Minimum of 2 years of phlebotomy experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and basic clerical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens.
• Centrifuge specimens and record maintenance data.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients and collect specimens as required.
• Match laboratory requisitions to specimen tubes and ensure correct labeling.
• Package specimens for transport and store according to protocol.
• Comply with OSHA/DEP regulations and attend annual trainings.
