Modern Machining Solutions Inc. seeks a phlebotomist for a contracted role in Ashland, OR. Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:30am-5pm, off every other Friday.

Projected duration: 3 months with potential for permanent placement. Responsibilities include blood draws, specimen labeling, and specimen transport while maintaining OSHA-compliant procedures. Qualified candidates have a phlebotomy certification, 6+ months venipuncture experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification required.
• Minimum of 6 months of venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Perform blood draws and label specimens.
• Centrifuge specimens and record maintenance data.
• Decontaminate work areas and update patient information as required.
• Match laboratory requisitions to specimen tubes; label, centrifuge, and package specimens correctly.
• Explain venipuncture procedure clearly to patients and ensure specimen integrity.
