Job summary

Clear Concepts, Inc. is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract role in Ashland, OR. Working Mon-Fri 8:30am-5pm, with every other Friday off, for an initial 3-month term and potential conversion to permanent employment.

The role requires experience with blood draws, proper specimen labeling, and adherence to safety and regulatory procedures. Training and workflow improvement input are encouraged as part of this position.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and labeling of specimens.
• Centrifuge specimens and record maintenance data.
• Explain the venipuncture process clearly to patients in a courteous manner.
• Package, label and transport specimens according to protocol and SOPs.
