Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
• 6 months minimum venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of phlebotomy experience

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens, centrifuge and maintain records.
• Prepare and package specimens for transport while ensuring specimen integrity.
• Explain venipuncture procedures clearly to patients and obtain accurate patient information.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and DEP regulations and attend annual trainings.
• Answer inquiries and communicate results as required.
