Kingfisher Recruiting is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract role in Ashland, OR. The shift runs Mon-Fri 8:30am-5pm with every other Friday off. The assignment lasts about 3 months, with potential for permanent hire. Benefits are available.

The phlebotomist will perform blood draws, label specimens, prepare and transport samples, and ensure proper documentation and compliance with safety regulations. Experience and certification are required.

Formación

• Valid phlebotomy certification for the state where employed is required.
• Minimum of 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2 years of phlebotomy experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsabilidades

• Perform blood draws and label specimens.
• Centrifuge specimens and record maintenance data and decontamination.
• Explain the venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Match laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes and label correctly.
• Package specimens for transport and store samples per protocol.
• Attend annual trainings and comply with OSHA/DEP regulations.
• Answer telephone inquiries and interpret laboratory results for inquiries.
