Horan Hiring Solutions, LLC is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract position in Shelby, NC. The role involves performing blood draws, labeling specimens, and following established lab procedures.

Schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, with an initial duration of 3 months and potential for permanent placement. Minimum qualifications include a valid Phlebotomy certification, at least 6 months of venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting, and a High School

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
• Minimum 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.

Mansioni

• Experience performing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures and explains venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Demonstrates technique using straight and butterfly needles and verifies test orders against requisitions.
• Packages specimens for transport and ensures proper labeling and temperature controls.
• Attends annual department trainings and responds to inquiries about lab results.
