Job summary

Clear Concepts, Inc. is seeking a Phlebotomist for a Shelby, NC location. Work hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, on a 3-month contract with potential for permanent hire. The role involves phlebotomy duties, specimen handling, and adherence to OSHA/DEP regulations.

Responsibilities include performing blood draws, labeling, centrifuging where needed, and maintaining patient information. Minimum 1 year of experience is preferred. Benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Phlebotomy certification required for the state of employment where applicable.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens per protocol.
• Record maintenance data and decontamination tasks.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Match requisitions to specimen tubes and ensure correct labeling.
• Package specimens for transport and store samples per temperature requirements.
• Attend required department trainings.
