Job summary

RON SUNSHINE ASSOCIATES LLC in Ashland, OR is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contracted role with potential for permanent placement. Schedule is Mon-Fri 8:30am-5pm with every other Friday off, and the position is listed as a 3-month contract with possible extension.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification required for the state of employment.
• Minimum of 6 months venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws and labeling specimens.
• Centrifuging specimens and recording maintenance data.
• Decontamination and updating patient information as required.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure proper storage and labeling.
• Adhere to OSHA and DEP regulations and attend annual trainings.
• Answer calls and review lab results as needed.
