Professional Recruiting Consultants, Inc. in Ashland, OR is seeking a Phlebotomist for a 3-month contract with potential for permanent placement. Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:30am-5pm, off every other Friday.

The role involves performing blood draws, labeling and processing specimens, and ensuring accurate data entry and specimen transport in compliance with OSHA and DEP regulations. Qualified candidates hold a state Phlebotomy certification, at least 2 years of phlebotomy experience, and a High School

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED
• 2 years of phlebotomy experience

Responsabilités

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information, etc.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
• Package specimens for transport.
• Stores specimen sample according to required temperature, places samples in appropriate collection container/ tube, accurately labels, follows different procedures as outlined by protocol for transport to maintain integrity of the specimen.
