Job summary

CSL is seeking a Donor Center Technician to prepare the autopheresis equipment and monitor donors during pheresis procedures. You will report to the Assistant Center Manager and ensure smooth operation, data integrity, and safety compliance.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to follow SOPs, and willingness to work overtime as needed. Cross-training in other areas may be possible to meet center needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three months’ work experience, preferably in medical/health provider environment.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and the pheresis process, respond to alarms or signals during the process.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Maintain alertness to donor reactions and notify staff as needed.
• Record incidents using the PDA and link equipment to donors in the system.
• Ensure accurate donor data in the electronic donor information management system.
