Job summary

CSL is seeking a Pheresis Technician in a clinical setting. You will prepare the donor, donor area and equipment for the pheresis process and ensure the autopheresis machine is ready for use. You will monitor the donor and process, address alarms, and disconnect the donor once complete.

You will maintain safety standards, confidentiality, and accurate donor data in the electronic system per SOPs, with potential cross-training and bilingual requirements as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Basic math calculations ability.
• Minimum three months’ work experience in medical or health provider environment or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Prepare donor, donor area and equipment for the pheresis process.
• Prepare autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor donor and pheresis process; respond to alarms or signals.
• Disconnect donor when the process is complete.
• Maintain safety and confidentiality; record incidents in PDA and document donor data per SOPs.
