Zusammenfassung

CSL seeks a dedicated team member to prepare the autopheresis machine and monitor the pheresis process for donors. You will record incidents with a PDA, link equipment to donors, and maintain data accuracy in the donor information system per SOPs.

Responsibilities include responding to alarms, staying aware of donor reactions, keeping a safe work area, and potentially cross-training in other areas as needed.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months' work experience, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Will perform basic math calculations.

Aufgaben

• Prepare autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and the pheresis process, respond to alarms or signals during the process.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Maintain alertness and awareness to any reaction donor may have during or after the pheresis process and notify appropriate staff.
• Use PDA to record incidents during the pheresis process, such as machine alerts and alarms, volume variances and donor adverse events.
• Link equipment and soft goods used in the pheresis process to the appropriate donor using PDA.
• Alerts Group Leader or Supervisor of donor flow issues.
• Ensure accurate recording of donor data in the electronic donor information management system as SOPs.
• Understand policies and procedures associated with hyper immune programs at the center if applicable.
• Maintain clean, efficient work environment and ensure sufficient operating supplies; follow HSE and OSHA policies; promote safety.
• Maintain confidentiality of all personnel, donor and center information.
• May be cross-trained in other areas to meet business needs.
• Bilingual skills may be required at the discretion of the organization.
