Job summary

CSL is seeking a donor center technician to prepare autopheresis machines and monitor donors during pheresis procedures. You will respond to alarms, disconnect donors after processing, and maintain safety and data accuracy in the donor information system.

The role requires attention to safety protocols, ability to lift up to 25 pounds, and basic math for calculations. Experience in medical settings is preferred, with a commitment to working in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months' work experience in a medical/health provider environment or equivalent.
• Will perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and the pheresis process, responding to alarms or signals.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Maintain alertness to donor reactions and notify staff as needed.
• Record incidents and donor data using the PDA and electronic systems.
• Link equipment and supplies to the appropriate donor in the system.
• Escalate donor flow issues to Group Leader or Supervisor.
