Job summary

CSL is seeking a Pheresis Technician to prepare autopheresis machines and monitor donors throughout the pheresis process. You will record incidents with the PDA, ensure proper linking of equipment to donors, and maintain data integrity per SOPs. A clean, safe work environment and adherence to HSE/OSHA policies are essential.

The role may require cross-training, overtime, and occasional bilingual capabilities as needed to support the center’s operations.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of three (3) months' work experience, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience
Will perform basic math calculations

Responsibilities

Prepare the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
Monitor the donor and the pheresis process, responds to alarms or signals during the process.
Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
Maintain alertness and awareness to any donor reactions and notify staff.
Record incidents and donor data using the PDA and electronic donor information system.
Link equipment and supplies to the appropriate donor in the system.
Alert group leader or supervisor of donor flow issues.
Ensure accurate recording of donor data in the electronic donor information system as per SOPs.
Maintain clean, safe work environment and comply with HSE/OSHA policies.
Cross-training in other areas may be required.
Overtime and extended hours may be required.
