Job summary

CSL is seeking a Donor Pheresis Support Technician to prepare autopheresis machines and donor areas for pheresis procedures. You will monitor donors, respond to alarms, and disconnect donors when procedures finish.

You will record incidents using a PDA, link equipment to donors, and ensure accurate donor data in the center's information systems. The role requires attentiveness to safety and confidentiality, with cross-training possible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three months’ work experience in medical or health provider environment preferred.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the autopheresis machine and donor area for pheresis procedures.
• Monitor the donor and pheresis process, responds to alarms or signals.
• Disconnect donor when the process is complete.
• Document incidents and donor data using PDA and electronic systems.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and ensure supplies are available.
• Follow all health, safety, and OSHA policies.
