Job summary

CSL in Brewer, Maine is seeking personnel to prepare the donor, donor area and equipment for pheresis processors. The role involves monitoring the donor and process, responding to alarms, and disconnecting the donor when complete.

You will document incidents using a PDA, connect equipment to donors in the information system, and ensure a clean, safe environment while following HSE and OSHA policies. Cross-training and bilingual abilities may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 months’ work experience in a medical/health setting.
• Basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and pheresis process and respond to alarms.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Document incidents and donor data using the PDA.
• Link equipment and supplies to the donor in the system.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow HSE/OSHA policies.
• Cross-train in other areas as needed.
• May require bilingual communication.
