Job summary

CSL Plasma in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Pheresis Processor to prepare donors, the donor area and equipment for the pheresis process, and to monitor the procedure.

You will ensure proper machine setup, respond to alarms, document incidents in the PDA, and maintain a clean, safe work environment while following HSE and OSHA guidelines. The role may require cross-training and bilingual skills at the organization's discretion.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months' work experience in medical or health provider environment or equivalent.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the donor, donor area and equipment for pheresis.
• Prepare the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and pheresis process and respond to alarms or signals.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Maintain awareness of donor reactions and notify staff as needed.
• Record incidents and machine data in the PDA and donor information system.
• Link equipment and soft goods to the donor in the PDA.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and ensure supplies are available.
