Job summary

CSL is seeking a Pheresis Processor to prepare donors, donor areas, and equipment for pheresis procedures. You will monitor the process, respond to alarms, and disconnect the donor when complete.

Maintain a safe, clean work area and ensure supplies are available, while following HSE and OSHA policies. You will use a PDA to record incidents, link equipment to donors, and record data in the donor information system; monitor donor flow and report issues to supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three (3) months’ work experience in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Will perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and the pheresis process, responds to alarms or signals during the process.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Maintain alertness to donor reactions during or after the pheresis process and notify staff.
• Use PDA to record incidents, link equipment to the donor, and document data in the donor information system.
• Alert Group Leader or Supervisor of donor flow issues.
• Ensure accurate recording of donor data in the electronic donor information management system.
• Maintain clean, efficient work environment and ensure supplies are available; follow HSE and OSHA policies.
