Job summary

CSL is seeking a Pheresis Support Technician to prepare the pheresis equipment and assist donors throughout the procedure. You will monitor the process, respond to alarms, and ensure donor safety while recording data using the PDA.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three months' work experience, preferably in medical or health provider environment.
• Basic math calculations required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and the pheresis process; respond to alarms or signals.
• Disconnect the donor when process is complete.
• Maintain awareness of donor reactions and notify staff as needed.
• Use PDA to record incidents and link equipment to donors.
• Record donor data in the electronic donor information management system per SOPs.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and follow HSE/OSHA policies.
• May be cross-trained in other areas as needed.
