Job summary

CSL in Lawrence, Kansas is seeking a plasma collection technician to perform venipuncture and monitor the pheresis process in accordance with SOPs. You will prepare donors, monitor during collection, and ensure donor safety and product quality throughout the procedure.

You will document incidents using the PDA, respond to alarms and adverse events, and maintain a clean, compliant work environment while following FDA guidelines and HSE/OSHA policies. Bilingual abilities may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum twelve (12) months experience in a medical or health care environment preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• State certification: Certified Phlebotomy Technician I, OR current RN by the State of California.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and monitor the pheresis process following SOPs.
• Set up donor, monitor during donation, and disconnect per SOPs.
• Educate donors on the donation process and policies as needed.
• Monitor donor safety and respond to adverse events.
• Record incidents and donor data in the electronic system per SOPs.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow HSE/OSHA policies.
