Job summary

CSL seeks a plasma donation technician to perform venipuncture and oversee the pheresis process in a compliant, SOP-driven environment. You will monitor donors, operate the PDA, collect samples and document data with precision.

Responsibilities include donor setup, safety monitoring, equipment troubleshooting, and maintaining a clean, efficient work area while ensuring donor comfort and compliance with FDA guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 12 months experience in a medical or health care environment preferred. For Centers located in CA, state certification as Phlebotomy Technician I or RN may be required.
• Refer to local job documentation for applicable requirements.

Responsibilities

• Performs venipuncture to begin pheresis process.
• Monitors and supports donor during pheresis per SOPs.
• Keeps accurate donor data in electronic system.
• Troubleshoots equipment, records incidents and actions.
• Maintains clean, safe work environment and follows OSHA policies.
• Educates new donors on process, screening and center policies.
