CSL Plasma is seeking a Plasma Donor Collector to perform pheresis procedures, including donor setup, monitoring, and disconnection. You will conduct venipuncture to start the pheresis process and monitor vein performance to ensure efficient, safe donations.

You will educate donors about the process, manage donor data in the electronic system, and respond to adverse events with appropriate escalation. The role requires attention to safety and accurate record-keeping.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 6 months' experience as a phlebotomist for external candidates; 1 year preferred.
• Minimum 12 months of experience in a medical/healthcare environment preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform pheresis procedures: donor setup, monitoring and disconnect in accordance with SOPs.
• Perform venipuncture to initiate pheresis per FDA guidelines.
• Assess donor vein performance and optimize donation time and safety.
• Educate donors on the donation process and center policies as needed.
• Monitor donors for reactions and assist or escalate as required.
• Record incidents and donor data using PDA and the donor management system.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and document resolutions.
• Monitor donor flow and communicate issues to supervisor.
• Collect arm or whole-blood samples for testing.
• Maintain accurate records in the donor information system.
• Adhere to safety, health, and OSHA policies; ensure confidentiality.
