Job summary

CSL Plasma is seeking a donor center professional to responsibly collect plasma via pheresis, perform donor venipuncture and monitor safety and process efficiency. You will follow SOPs and FDA guidelines to provide a positive donor experience.

Responsibilities include recording donor data, responding to equipment alarms, and maintaining a clean, compliant work environment while ensuring donor safety and product quality.

Qualifications

• Internal CSL Employees Applicants must have successfully completed the CSL Plasma DST training.
• External candidates must have a minimum of 6 months' experience as a phlebotomist; one year of experience is preferable.
• Minimum twelve (12) months of experience in a medical or health care environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of the pheresis procedure and plasma collection per SOPs.
• Perform venipuncture on donors to begin pheresis process.
• Monitor donor vein performance and adjust to ensure efficiency and safety.
• Record incidents and donor data in the electronic donor information management system.
• Troubleshoot equipment and respond to alarms; maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Educate new donors on screening, nutrition, fees and center policies when applicable.
