Job summary

CSL Plasma in the United States seeks a phlebotomist to perform pheresis procedures and plasma collection, including donor setup, monitoring and disconnect, venipuncture, and maintain donor safety.

Responsibilities include educating donors, recording data in the donor information system, responding to adverse events, maintaining clean work areas, and complying with HSE/OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Internal CSL Employees Applicants must have successfully completed the CSL Plasma DST training.
• External candidates must have a minimum of 6 months’ experience as a phlebotomist; one year of experience is preferable.
• Minimum twelve (12) months of experience in a medical or health care environment preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform pheresis procedure and plasma collection, including donor setup, monitoring and disconnect.
• Venipuncture to begin pheresis process.
• Monitor donor health and respond to adverse events.
• Record donor data in the electronic donor information management system per SOPs.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and follow HSE/OSHA policies.
• May cross-train in other areas to meet business needs.
