Job summary

CSL Plasma is seeking a phlebotomist to support donor plasma collection through pheresis. You will set up donors, monitor the process and disconnect after collection, following SOPs and FDA guidelines.

You will perform venipuncture, evaluate vein performance, and ensure donor safety and a positive donation experience while maintaining accurate records in the donor information system and upholding HSE policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum six months as a phlebotomist; one year preferred.
• Healthcare environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform pheresis procedure setup, donor monitoring and disconnect per SOPs.
• Venipuncture to begin pheresis, following FDA guidelines.
• Evaluate donor vein performance and expedite donation while ensuring safety.
• Record donor data accurately in the donor information system and maintain confidentiality.
