Job summary

CSL is seeking a frontline role to prepare the autopheresis machine for pheresis procedures, closely monitor donors, and handle process alarms. You will report to the Assistant Center Manager and contribute to a safe, efficient center operation in Tempe, AZ.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least three months' medical/health-provider experience, with basic math skills. PDA use and HIPAA-style confidentiality are part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum three months' work experience in medical or health provider environment, or equivalent education/experience.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare autopheresis machine for pheresis process.
• Monitor donor and pheresis process; respond to alarms or signals.
• Disconnect donor when process is complete.
• Maintain awareness of donor reactions during/after pheresis; notify staff as needed.
• Record incidents and machine alarms using PDA.
• Link equipment and materials to the correct donor in the system.
• Alerts supervisor of donor flow issues.
• Ensure accurate donor data entry in the electronic donor information management system.
• Follow SOPs and safety policies (HSE/OSHA).
• Maintain confidentiality of all donor and center information.
• May be cross-trained in other areas as business needs shift.
