Job summary

CSL in Gilbert, AZ is seeking a Pheresis Technician to prepare autopheresis equipment and monitor donors during the pheresis process. The role supports patient safety by responding to alarms, documenting events in the PDA, and ensuring proper linkage of equipment to donors.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean work environment, following HSE/OSHA policies, and reporting any donor reactions to staff. A high school diploma and 3 months of health-provider experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months’ work experience preferred in medical or health provider environment or equivalent.
• Will perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and the pheresis process, respond to alarms during the process.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Maintain awareness of donor reactions and notify staff as needed.
• Record incidents and donor data using the PDA and link equipment to donors.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and follow HSE and OSHA policies.
