Job summary

CSL is seeking an assistant for the pheresis donor center who prepares the autopheresis machine, monitors donors, and ensures safe, accurate processing. The role involves recording incidents with a PDA, linking equipment to donors, and maintaining a clean, compliant work environment.

The candidate should have a high school diploma, at least 3 months in a medical setting, and be capable of basic math. Some cross-training and bilingual abilities may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months' work experience in a medical or health provider environment or equivalent.
• Will perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and the pheresis process and respond to alarms or signals.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Maintain awareness of donor reactions during/after the procedure.
• Record incidents and donor data using PDA and link equipment to donors.
• Ensure accurate donor data entry in electronic donor information system.
• Follow HSE and OSHA policies and ensure safety in all actions.
• May be cross-trained in other areas as needed.
• Bilingual skills may be required at organizational discretion.
