Job summary

CSL is seeking a Pheresis Technician in Peoria, Illinois. You will prepare donors, area and equipment for pheresis and monitor the process, ensuring donor safety and accurate data capture.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least three months of experience in medical settings, plus basic math; training will cover SOPs, HSE and OSHA policies.

This on-site position offers hands-on work with automated equipment and potential cross-training in other areas to meet center needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three months’ work experience in medical or health provider environment preferred.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the donor and equipment for the pheresis process.
• Monitor donor and pheresis process; respond to alarms.
• Disconnect donor when the process is complete.
• Record incidents and donor data in the electronic donor information management system.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and follow HSE/OSHA policies.
• May be cross-trained in other areas as needed.
