Job summary

CSL is seeking an on-site donor center support role in Illinois. You will prepare the pheresis equipment, monitor donors during the procedure, and ensure accurate data entry in electronic systems.

The position emphasizes safety, adherence to SOPs, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include responding to alarms, recording incidents with a PDA, and maintaining supplies while following OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must have strong basic math calculations.
• Must maintain safety awareness in a clinical environment.
• Ability to communicate clearly with team members and donors when needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitors the donor and pheresis process; responds to alarms or signals.
• Disconnects the donor when the process is complete.
• Maintains alertness to donor reactions during/after the procedure; notifies staff as needed.
• Records incidents and equipment data using the PDA; links equipment to donor records.
• Alerts supervisor of donor flow issues.
• Ensures accurate donor data entry in the electronic system per SOPs.
• Follows HSE and OSHA policies; keeps work area clean and stocked.
• May be cross-trained in other areas.
