Job summary

CSL is seeking a donor center technician to support pheresis procedures in a Florida facility. The role requires preparing the donor, donor area and equipment for the pheresis process, and getting the autopheresis machine ready for use.

You will monitor the donor and procedure, respond to alarms, and disconnect the donor when complete. The position emphasizes attention to safety, data recording in the donor information system, and maintaining confidentiality and cleanliness in a fast-paced

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of three (3) months’ work experience, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent.
Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

Prepare the donor, donor area and equipment for the pheresis process.
Prepare the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
Monitor the donor and the pheresis process, respond to alarms or signals during the process.
Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
Maintain alertness and awareness to donor reactions during or after the procedure and notify staff.
Record incidents and donor data in the electronic donor information system as per SOPs.
Maintain a clean, efficient work environment and ensure supplies are available; follow HSE and OSHA policies.
Maintain confidentiality of all donor and center information.
