Job summary

CSL Plasma is seeking a donor center support role in Florida. You will prepare the donor, donor area, and equipment for pheresis, and you will set up the autopheresis machine for the procedure.

You will monitor the donor and process, respond to alarms, disconnect the donor when complete, and document events using the PDA. The position requires attention to safety, data accuracy, and confidentiality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months' work experience, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for preparing the donor, donor area and equipment for the pheresis process.
• Prepares the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitors the donor and the pheresis process, responds to alarms or signals during the process.
• Disconnects the donor when the process is complete.
• Maintains alertness and awareness to any donor reactions and notifies staff as needed.
• Uses PDA to record incidents and link equipment to donors.
• Alerts Group Leader or Supervisor of donor flow issues.
• Ensures accurate recording of donor data in the electronic donor information management system.
• Maintains clean, safe work environment and ensures supplies are available; follows HSE and OSHA policies.
• Maintains confidentiality of all personnel, donor, and center information.
