Job summary

CSL Vifor is seeking a Donor Center Technician to prepare the autopheresis machine, donor area and equipment for pheresis processing. You will monitor the donor and the process, respond to alarms, and disconnect the donor when complete.

You will record incidents with the PDA, link equipment to donors, notify the supervisor of donor flow issues, maintain accurate donor data in the electronic system, follow SOPs, and uphold Health, Safety and Environmental policies. Overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and the pheresis process, respond to alarms or signals.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Maintain alertness to donor reactions and notify staff as needed.
• Record incidents with the PDA, linking equipment and donor data as required.
• Alert supervisors to donor flow issues and ensure accurate donor data in the system.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
