Job summary

Perry Homes is seeking a hands-on construction project professional to oversee Phase II activities from sheetrock to home completion. You will coordinate independent contractors across multiple jobsites, manage material orders, and uphold Perry Homes standards on every project.

The role emphasizes time management, cost control, and the ability to read blueprints and development plans. A high school diploma is required, with a bachelor's degree preferred, and a current driver's license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Requires relevant management or leadership experience.
• Ability to communicate and negotiate effectively with independent contractors and homeowners, verbally and in writing; excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, blueprints, construction plans, plats and development plans.
• Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Basic knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations.
• Knowledge of Perry Homes policies and procedures applicable to construction personnel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate independent contractors over multiple jobsites.
• Order construction materials.
• Monitor the quantity and quality of materials and completed tasks.
• Ensure standards of quality as set forth by Perry Homes.
• Manage time under construction, supervise construction activities, control overhead costs, budget variances, and change orders.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Project Manager, VP of Construction, or Division President.
