Job summary

Healthfirst is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to serve as a Pharmacy Navigator, reviewing medication lists to improve adherence, remove barriers to therapy, and prevent adverse events. You will coordinate refills and new prescriptions, arrange appointments, and connect patients with resources to reduce pharmacy visits.

You will work with Healthfirst pharmacists and external partners to integrate MTM interventions and monitor adherence with community pharmacies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience communicating with patients, providers, and pharmacists.
• Nationally certified Pharmacy Technician or licensed Pharmacy Technician in good standing.
• Bilingual skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review medication lists to support adherence and reduce barriers.
• Facilitate refills, new prescriptions, appointments, and access to medications.
• Coordinate MTM interventions with pharmacists and partners.
• Monitor member adherence with community pharmacies.
• Conduct patient health assessments to identify barriers to adherence.
• Handle member and provider communications by phone or in person.
• Additional duties as necessary.
