Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA is hiring a Full-time Inpatient Pharmacy Technician to support the medication-use process under licensed pharmacists. Rotating 8-hour shifts with some overnight coverage, weekends every other weekend, and a $5,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.

The role includes dispensing, ensuring adequate supplies, operating Epic and Omnicell systems, and contributing to patient care in a high-volume hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy technician license in Virginia required.
• Previous pharmacy experience preferred.
• Ability to work rotating shifts including overnights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Fill and deliver medications under pharmacist supervision.
• Triage questions and escalate as needed.
• Maintain adequate supplies for patient care.
• Operate pharmacy equipment and ensure QA standards.
