**City/State**Norfolk, VA**Work Shift**Rotating**Overview:**# ***Sentara is hiring a PRN/Flexi Pharmacy Technician II for our Outpatient Pharmacy "Meds to Beds" Program at Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA.*****Location:** Norfolk General Hospital- Norfolk, VA**Status:** Flexi / PRN (8 hrs/week with opportunities to pick up additional hours)**Shift:** Rotating 8 hr Shifts**Hours:** 8:45am-7:15pm**Occasional Saturdays and Holidays**Sentara To Home pharmacies are designed to help patients transition to home by assisting with medication needs before leaving the hospital. The program is designed to make the transition to home as simple and convenient as possible for patients and their families.At Sentara To Home, medications, home medical equipment, and other healthcare needs can be provided to be prepared after discharge.## *The Pharmacy Tech II : t**ransition specialist that consults with patients about what they will need to have a successful recovery once leaving the hospital. Prior to the day of your discharge, the transition specialist will visit the patient's hospital room to discuss medication needs and self-care requirements.
