Job summary

Shields Health Solutions is recruiting a Pharmacy Refill Technician in Fulton, MS to support the pharmacy team with timely filling and delivery of specialty medications. You will assist patients through the refill process, manage outbound and inbound calls, and help maintain efficient pharmacy operations.

The role requires a Mississippi-registered Pharmacy Technician (CPhT preferred) with 2+ years of experience, strong communication, organization, and tech skills.

Qualifications

• Mississippi-registered Pharmacy Technician required; CPhT preferred.
• 2+ years of experience as a pharmacy technician.
• Strong communication, organization, and tech skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, knowledgeable assistance to patients, providers, and staff.
• Make outbound refill calls and process requests promptly.
• Answer and triage incoming pharmacy calls.
• Clarify prescription orders with pharmacists or clinicians.
• Coordinate medication refills and complete accurate data entry.
• Assist with claim adjudication and troubleshoot rejected claims.
