Shields Health Solutions is seeking a Pharmacy Refill Technician to support the pharmacy team by ensuring accurate, timely filling and delivery of specialty medications. You will assist patients through the refill process and handle outbound and inbound calls.

Key duties include triaging calls, clarifying orders with pharmacists, coordinating refills with precise data entry, and aiding with claim adjudication and resolving rejected claims.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a pharmacy technician.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong communication, organization, and tech skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, knowledgeable assistance to patients, providers, and staff.
• Make outbound refill calls and process requests promptly.
• Answer and triage incoming pharmacy calls.
• Clarify prescription orders with pharmacists or clinicians.
• Coordinate medication refills and complete accurate data entry.
• Assist with claim adjudication and troubleshoot rejected claims.
