Job summary

Responsibilities

• Communicates with customers via inbound and outbound calls.
• Assesses customer need for additional products/services.
• Assesses customer compliance with physician orders.
• Answers questions and educates customers about products/services.
• Documents calls in the computerized record keeping system.
• Enters customer orders into the computerized system.
• Verifies and updates demographic information in records.
• Reads and analyzes patient orders.
• Understands pharmacy prescription terminology.
• Communicates effectively with coworkers and patients.
• Assists with training of employees.
• Calculates figures for frequency and doses dispensed.
