Qualifications

• Computer entry required
• Must meet licensing requirements for location
• Read and analyze patient orders
• Comprehend pharmacy prescription terminology

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers via inbound and outbound calls
• Assess need for additional products/services
• Assess compliance with physician orders
• Answer questions and educate customers on products/services
• Document calls in computerized record keeping system
• Enter customer orders in computerized system
• Verify and update demographic information in records
• Read and analyze patient orders
• Communicate with coworkers and patients
• Help with training of employees
• Calculate figures and amounts for frequency and doses dispensed
• Carry out oral and written instructions
