Job summary

Lumicera Health Services seeks a professional to lead and support a healthcare team in a remote-capable role. You will manage daily workflows, mentor staff, and ensure accurate processing of pharmacy-related tasks while maintaining strict HIPAA compliance.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in managed care or PBM environments, strong leadership, and familiarity with pharmacy software. The role offers comprehensive benefits and remote-work eligibility for select states.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• CPhT preferred.
• 2 years’ experience in a managed care, specialty pharmacy, customer service, or PBM environment required.
• Call center experience preferred.
• Direct leadership or coaching/mentoring experience preferred.
• Pharmacy claim/benefit experience preferred.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and data privacy practices preferred.
• Support compliance program objectives; interact cooperatively with staff.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily workload standards are met by understanding workflow and directing staff.
• Identify and remove barriers to achieve goals.
• Review client transitions and changes in volume; ensure scripting/resources are clear.
• Share information impacting staff in a timely manner.
• Ensure staff comprehension through feedback/observation.
• Lead and support department staff day-to-day.
• Set and enforce quality metrics for staff.
• Coach, motivate and develop staff; manage disciplinary processes as needed.
• Coordinate with hiring/temp agencies and escalate issues as appropriate.
• Maintain knowledge of pharmacy processing and Lumicera’s tools.
