Job summary

Walgreens in York, PA is seeking a full-time certified pharmacy technician to support day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations, process prescriptions under a pharmacist’s supervision, and help maintain efficient workflow and a positive patient experience.

Under the supervision of a pharmacist, you will assist with patient registration, data entry, medication preparation, vaccines and health services where allowed, and performance management of pharmacy staff, including scheduling and training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• PTCB certification.
• Has one year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day processing of prescriptions under pharmacist supervision.
• Assist pharmacist in patient care activities and vaccinations where allowed by law.
• Lead training and supervise technicians; manage scheduling and performance.
